Ortega's Mexican Grill in Missouri

"Wow! For a small town, this place is great for a big appetite. The prices are reasonable, food is fresh, staff is friendly, and it's super clean. I loved my square plate and how beautifully organized all my combo items were placed. My partner had the Volcan molcajete, and it was delicious. I would have liked to see a few more contemporary Mexican artwork on the walls or some talavera tile. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and hope to be back soon! Gracias, Amigos!"

"Soooo good. I highly recommend the fried ice cream. He put 2 cherries in it because we were in a date also noticed he cleaned every table and the floors every half hour rather any one had come in or not. So clean"

"We were in the area for a machine gun shoot, and this place was a usual go-to for most of the people in our crew. The place was very busy, but they did a pretty good job of getting food and drinks out in a timely manner. A few of the dishes were not up to those people's liking, but overall, everything was very good. My meal was warm, and it was a fried dish. The server was super busy, and she did a great job. There was a gentleman who was maybe the owner who helped out as well and was really nice. I would go back again"

"Every time I visit Seneca I end up here and I have yet to be disappointed. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The salsa is maybe the best I've ever had."

Had the chile relleno with cheese sauce (stuffed with ground beef). The churros were warm on the outside but the filling was cold. Portions were small. Chile relleno dinner plate came with only one chile and rice and beans were small portion. The service was good. Kind and courteous waiter. Attentive and responsive. Atmosphere was exceptionally clean, but lacked decor. Restaurant has white walls and from pictures you would not guess that it’s a Mexican restaurant. Bathrooms were clean and kept up. Lunch for two on the weekend, was $24 (before tip). Not bad considering inflation and it’s not fast food. Recommend, and next time I’m in Seneca, MO I’ll make sure to stop in again!"
